Rajasthan Universal Health Scheme starting from May 1: CM Ashok Gehlot

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday announced that his government’s much-awaited Universal Health Scheme (UHS) will be launched on May 1 this year. In his response to the budget debate in the assembly, Gehlot said that it would be named Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Yojana. In his budget speech on 24 February, Gehlot had announced UHS with Rs 3,500 crore in the upcoming financial year to provide cashless health services up to Rs 5 lakh to all families in the state.

Gehlot said that registration for those not included in the National Food Security Act (NFSA) / Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC) beneficiary list will start from April 1. In another important announcement, Gehlot increased the MLA Local Area Development (MLA LAD) fund after the demand of both Congress and opposition MLAs annually. 25 crores to 5 crores rupees. The announcement was welcomed by party MLAs with applause. However, the CM did not say when it would be implemented. Earlier, at the beginning of his speech and recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi while paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Gehlot said, “This is a good opportunity for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk to (RSS chief) Mohan Bhagwat and do so.

” There is an atmosphere – forget what happened in six years – there should be a new beginning in the country with harmony, love, brotherhood. “Gehlot then attacked Gulab Chand Kataria, the leader of the opposition, who had spoken just before the CM to” mislead “the House. The way you speak feels like you only speak the truth, and nothing but the truth. but it’s not like that. You know how to lie, it seems true. And I told you, even in private, Do not be angry Speaking well and using such good words, you suddenly shift to ‘tu, ta’.

It is a matter of research on how emotion affects you. Gehlot said, come to my office or residence, I will clear all your doubts, but will not mislead the House. He said that the opposition misled and “made headlines in newspapers, (you said) that 1.8 lakh jobs were announced in 2.5 years but only 13,000 were given employment”. “So far, we have placed appointments in 97,000 jobs, while exams have been conducted / results have been announced for about 17,000 jobs and they will be given appointments soon. For the other 37,000 posts, advertisements have been issued and the exam will be held soon. For another 23,000, the process of issuing advertisements is underway.

In this way, we only 1 in 2-2.25 years. More than 7 lakh are in the process of providing jobs, and despite the coronovirus, ”said CM. He claimed that when the Center is now receiving the same revenue as 2019-20, it is beyond comprehension why you are reducing the state’s share. Rajasthan’s shareholding has come down by 17 per cent. In 2019-20 we got Rs 10,000 crore less, Rs 14,000 crore less in 2020-21, and for 2021-22, we have already been told that we will get Rs 12,000 crore less: That’s a total of Rs 36,000 crore. “Gehlot said. “PM talks about cooperative federalism, but only talks about it and does not put it into practice

. Gehlot said that the situation in the country is worrisome. When he did not talk about the phone tapping issue, Gehlot said that one should “talk on WhatsApp or FaceTime, Otherwise your phone can be tapped. ” Referring to the debate on phone tapping, he jokingly said, “Yesterday, all your phones were tapped.” With Kataria focusing on the financial health of the state, Gehlot said that whenever the BJP is in power, its financial management is “chatter (nonsense)”.

You may have vision but no financial management… In the House, we should talk about where the parameters are, and the criticism within it is justified. “” In the last 10–12 years, there has been a revenue surplus three times, and each time it was during our tenure: 2010–11, 2011–12 and 2012–13. And in your time, there was a revenue deficit of Rs 3,215 crore, then Rs 15,957 crore in 2015-16, Rs 1-16,167 crore in 2014-2014, Rs 14,348 crore in 2011 and -1 there

. And in 2001-19-14, it was Rs.2,900,900 crores. ” said. He said that when he took power in 2008-09, Then the debt-to-GDP ratio of the state was 36.38 percent, when we handed over to you (in 2013-14) to the government, we reduced it to 23.58 percent. But you again took it to 33.78 per cent. Now our tenure is steadily increasing due to the factors I have listed – the deviation of the center, the GST, and the loans you have given us when we took over.

“He said that similarly the fiscal deficit under the BJP has been high. “In your time, the fiscal deficit has always gone up by 3 percent: 3.09, 9.25, 6.09, 3.06 and 3.74 whereas, with us, it was 3.87 when we took over from you, 1.22, 0.83, 1.73 and 2.76.” “These are the parameters that reflect financial discipline,” he said, adding that state figures have been better than centers. Among other announcements, CM announced a back-to-work scheme where 15,000 women would be inducted over the next three years. Under the scheme, Efforts will be made through the private sector to provide work from home work opportunities to trained women professionals and working women, who left work to take care of the family after marriage. .
