Xiaomi and Poco phones to get Android 11 based MIUI 12 update soon, here’s the list of devices

Xiaomi has been in the limelight lately for the upcoming launch of its Mi 11 series in India on March 29. While the Chinese tech major is busy preparing for the launch, it is also working alongside on the software that powers most of its phones – a stable version of the new MIUI.

The latest version in this regard is the Android 11 based MIUI 12. Xiaomi began introducing it in India in December last year, with the OS marking its first appearance on the Mi 10 and the Redmi Note 9. However, further rollout to other devices was stopped due to a range of bugs reported on the MIUI version.

This was followed by the rollout of MIUI 12’s beta version to several Xiaomi devices, including Redmi K30, the Mi 9 series and POCO’s F2 Pro. Further, in January 2021, the Android 11 update made its way to the likes of the Redmi K30 series, Mi Note 10 Lite and the Mi A3 in the company’s western markets.

The same was done for the Mi 10T and 10T Pro in February, while in March, POCO rolled out the MIUI 12 update to the X3 NFC in parts of Europe. Throughout the rollout of its latest OS, several bugs and issues were reported by the users. Xiaomi has managed to tackle them in time as it seems like a wider rollout of the stable version is underway.

Before we question the availability of the Android 11 based MIUI 12 on various Xiaomi smartphones, here is a look at what the update has to offer to Xiaomi users.
