Was there a conspiracy against the security of PM Modi or not? Supreme Court constitutes 5-member inquiry committee

The Supreme Court has appointed retired Supreme Court Justice Indu Malhotra as the chairman of the committee set up to investigate the breach in PM Narendra Modi’s security in the past. In this committee, the DG of National Investigation Agency (NIA) or any officer nominated by him will be there. Apart from this, the DGP of Chandigarh, ADG Security of Punjab and Registrar General of Punjab-Haryana High Court will also be the members of the committee. This committee will see what went wrong in the security.

Who is responsible for this and what steps can be taken to prevent such incidents in future. Let us inform that PM Modi was going to Ferozepur in Punjab on 5 January. At that time his convoy was stopped by protesters at a flyover 30 km from the rally site. Modi’s convoy was stuck there for 20 minutes. After which the BJP had alleged that the Channi government of the state did all this deliberately.

BJP National President JP Nadda had also alleged that when CM Charanjit Singh Channi was called about the incident, he did not even pick up the phone. After this, the BJP constantly attacked the Congress and Channi. On the other hand, Channi kept saying that the security of the PM was not in danger. Whereas, it was seen in a video that the agitators were very close to Modi’s convoy.

Meanwhile, yesterday a channel showed a sting operation. In this, two police officers were telling that the higher officials were aware of the incident, but they did not take any action. A police officer was even saying that he knew that the agitators were not farmers but fanatics in the form of farmers.
