Shock to SP-Congress, Mulayam’s brother-in-law and Priyanka’s poster girl joined BJP

Priyanka Maurya, the poster girl of Congress’ campaign ‘Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon’, joined the BJP in Lucknow on Thursday. Priyanka was upset over not being given a ticket from Sarojini Nagar assembly constituency and claimed that she was asked to pay a bribe by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s aide.

Another leader who joined BJP on Thursday is Mulayam Singh Yadav’s brother-in-law Pramod Gupta. Meanwhile, Aditi Singh, the rebel Congress MLA from Rae Bareli, resigned from the Congress, while the rebel SP MLA Nitin Agarwal also resigned from the SP. He also resigned from the post of deputy speaker for which he was elected in October last year.

After joining the BJP, Priyanka Maurya while talking to the media said, “I was associated with the Congress for social service, I was told that you work hard and you will get the fruits. Got a slogan, I am a girl, I can fight. Today I say that I am a girl, I have the skill to fight, worked hard, the results were also good, but I did not get a chance to fight.

Let us inform that in Uttar Pradesh, elections are to be held in seven phases. The first phase of polling will be held on February 10. While the second phase of polling will be held on February 14. Apart from this, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, the fifth phase on February 27, the sixth phase on March 3 and the seventh and last phase on March 7. The results of the elections will be declared on March 10.
