With this move of the government, users will get an option apart from Android and iOS. For this, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is working rapidly. Indian companies will benefit from this. It will grow into an Indian brand.
According to the Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajiv Chandrashekhar, the new policy of the Central Government will create an industry ecosystem for making indigenous mobile operating systems in India. Which will work to reduce the dominance of Google and Apple. This will work to create such an ecosystem, which can prove to be very helpful in the field of education and startup. Google and Apple are the two giant mobile operating software companies in the world of mobile market.
If you buy any smartphone, then Google’s Android or Apple’s iOS based operating system will be present in it. This is the reason that both the companies decide the rules and regulations of the operating system according to their own. Apple’s iPhone is one of the most popular smartphones in the world and is used by most of the users. In India too, it is a trending smartphone that competes with Android smartphones.
It is worth noting that smartphones based on the Android operating system are much cheaper than the iPhone and have more features, despite this, the craze of iOS is increasing continuously, in view of which the Government of India is now preparing a new operating system which will help both of these. It will give a tough competition to the technologies and can achieve a new height.
