Mamta Banerjee’s nephew’s fascination should not let TMC’s boat sink somewhere

TMC has staked claim on Goa in the elections of five states. Mamta Banerjee feels that by playing the electoral innings in Goa, she will emerge as a national leader, but first she should think of settling the ongoing conflict in Bengal. The difference of opinion refers to Mamta’s nephew Prem, due to which many MPs and MLAs are now seen angry. The infighting in the ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal may intensify from today. The reason is the organization elections of the party. Mamta Banerjee is likely to be elected president again in the organization elections.

But for the past few days, many leaders have raised their voice against his nephew and TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee. Two big leaders of the party, Kalyan Banerjee and Madan Mitra, have already raised their voice against Abhishek Banerjee. Both these leaders are considered special to Mamta Banerjee.
Kalyan Banerjee, MP from Shrirampur and Chief Whip of TMC in Lok Sabha, had said that he considers only Mamta as his leader. He had targeted Mamta’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee.

After this statement of Kalyan, many TMC leaders had expressed their opinion against him. Mamta’s close aide and former West Bengal minister Madan Mitra had also raised her voice against Abhishek in the past. Madan Mitra was also warned by the party’s disciplinary committee on this. Another senior party leader Partha Chatterjee is claiming that there is no opposition, but no one is answering the question on which issue Kalyan Banerjee and Madan Mitra have raised their voice.

After the victory in the assembly elections in West Bengal, Mamata made her nephew the national general secretary. Abhishek is already an MP. Now he has been given the responsibility of taking the party forward in Goa and other states and winning the assembly elections. In such a situation, the displeasure against the steps of Abhishek and Mamta is increasing among all the leaders in the party, leaving the party in displeasure. Instead of paying attention to Goa, focus on Bengal first.
