Kolkata. First BJP, then Congress and now Trinamool. The fate of election strategist Prashant Kishor alias PK has not been confirmed anywhere. In the latest case, there is news of him and Mamta Banerjee leaving. According to the Bengali newspaper ‘Anandbazar Patrika’, Prashant sent a message to Mamta Banerjee and Mamta said thank you. The reason for souring relations between the two was the selection of candidates in the local body elections.

There was a ruckus in the Trinamool as soon as the names of Prashant Kishor’s suggested candidates came to the fore. Anti-party demonstrations started everywhere. In such a situation, voices were raised against Prashant Kishor’s company I-Pac, so he messaged Mamta two days ago that he no longer wants to work for TMC in Bengal, Tripura and Meghalaya. Mamta also just said thank you in response to this. Let us inform that earlier Prashant Kishor had tried to go to Congress.

He had met Rahul and Priyanka, but the Congress did not open the doors for him. Prior to this, PK had been an advisor to Amarinder Singh as the CM of Punjab. Prior to that, when his ties with BJP were broken, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had given him the status of a minister by making him his advisor, but when Nitish and BJP again had misunderstandings, Prashant Kishor had to leave from Bihar as well. Now he has also separated from the ruling party of West Bengal.

Prashant Kishor had also consistently given discouraging statements to the opposition in the last few months. He had said in the past that at present the opposition is not capable of giving competition to the BJP. He had also said that he would keep trying to prepare a barricade against the BJP. Now after leaving Mamta’s support, her intention has also been eclipsed for the time being. Prashant Kishor came into the limelight in 2014 by preparing a campaign blueprint for Modi. Before that he used to work in America.
