Replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that when the country will celebrate 100 years of independence, then this is a very important time for where we have to take the country, how to take it. He said that all of us politicians have to focus on how to take the country in the coming 25 years. Prime Minister Modi said that democracy and debate have been going on in India for centuries and the problem of Congress is that they have not thought anything in front of familyism.
The biggest threat to India’s democracy is from family-oriented parties. The first casualty in this is that of talent. He said that it was told in Parliament that what would have happened if Congress had not been there, I give the answer. This was the wish of Mahatma Gandhi. Had there not been Congress as per their wish, today democracy would have been free from familyism. Prime Minister Modi said that if Congress had not been there, there would have been no genocide of Sikhs. Had there been no Congress, there would have been no stigma of Emergency.
Had the Congress not been there, Punjab would not have burnt in the fire of terrorism, nor would there have been the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. Had Congress not been there, daughters would not have been burnt in the tandoor. Prime Minister Modi said that when the Congress was in power, it did not allow the country to develop. Now when it is in opposition, it is hindering the development of the country. He said that if the Congress had not been there, then the roots of casteism in the country would not have been deep. Prime Minister Modi said that in this Corona era, by giving free ration to more than 80 crore countrymen, he has set an example in front of the world.
It was also ensured that record houses are built for the poor, these houses are equipped with water connection. Prime Minister Modi said about employment in the Rajya Sabha that in the year 2021, one crore 20 lakh people are associated with EPFO, these are all formal jobs. Of these, 65 lakh are in the age group of 18-25 years. Meaning this is the first job of these people. Hiring has doubled after the Covid restrictions opened. According to NASSCOM, 27 lakh jobs were created in the IT sector after 2017.
The number of unicorns made in India in 2021 is more than the total number of unicorns made in earlier years.
