Big decision of Yogi cabinet, free food grains scheme for 15 crore poor extended till this date

Yogi himself gave this information to the media after the cabinet.

In the press conference with Yogi, both the deputy CMs of the state government Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak and ministers in the government Swatantra Dev Singh and Suresh Khanna were also there. Yogi told the media that during the Corona period, PM Narendra Modi gave freebies to poor families across the country. There was a plan to give food grains. Under this scheme, one kg of gram dal, one liter of mustard oil and salt was being given to poor families every month besides free food grains. At the same time, in addition to Antyodaya, the government was giving 1 kg of sugar free of cost to the poorest of the poor.

His cabinet has unanimously decided to continue this scheme even further. This scheme was earlier to run till March, but during the election campaign, Yogi had promised the public that he would continue this scheme till the time the need was felt and people would not get proper employment.
