Let us inform that taking a big step in the direction of the interest of the employees, the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance to 34 percent. Earlier this dearness allowance was only 32 percent. Which has now been increased by three percent.

Keep in mind that inflation is reaching its peak due to many reasons including Ukraine-Russia. The prices of petrol and diesel are also touching the sky, keeping in mind that the Central Government has taken a relief step. The increased dearness allowance will be available from 1 January to 1 January 2022. It has been decided to increase the dearness allowance under the seventh pay commission.

Dearness Allowance is revised twice a year under the Seventh Pay Commission. Earlier, in the month of October last year, the dearness allowance was increased from 28 per cent to 31 per cent by the Centre. Now it has been increased by four percent. As a result of this move of the government, more than 50 lakh employees are expected to get benefit. It is believed that after the above decision, 1.15 crore employees will be benefited.
