Vandalism by entering the temple of Muzaffarnagar, two in custody

There was a dispute on Monday over the demolition of the idol in Baghra village of Muzaffarnagar, UP. In fact, entering the temple, some mischievous elements vandalized the idols, causing a ruckus in the area. During this, the crowd present on the spot caught the youth and thrashed him when the priest raised an alarm. On getting information about the incident, the high officials reached the spot with heavy police force and barely rescued the accused youth from the clutches of the mob and took him into custody, while the other person has been arrested on the basis of identity. The people present on the spot say that 2 people are still absconding in the case. Let us tell you that a young man entered the Khatik Wale temple of Baghra at around 8.30 am on Monday. It is alleged that a person named Yakub destroyed the idols kept in the temple. After which the crowd thrashed the man fiercely. An angry mob blocked the Panipat-Khatima highway when the statues were vandalised. After which additional police force has been deployed in the temple and the surrounding area in view of the fear of communal tension. The anger of the people was quelled after the assurance of a thorough investigation in this matter. The news of the Bahral incident spread like a fire in the entire area, due to which many Hindu organizations gathered on the spot along with a crowd of hundreds. They created a ruckus regarding the arrest of the accused. The Hindutva organizations, raising slogans, have also demanded to impose Rasuka on the accused.
