24 February (Language) Sports community and sports enthusiasts across the world, including India’s top golfer Jeev Milkha Singh and Anirban Lahiri, have wished the great golfer Tiger Woods a quick recovery.
Woods was injured in a car accident in Los Angeles and had to undergo a leg operation.
From former US President Donald Trump, Barack Obama to legendary boxer Mike Tyson and eminent personalities from various fields expressed grief over the accident.
Jeev Milkha Singh tweeted, “We are praying for Tiger Woods. We have seen untoward happening to you in the past as well. Get over it even quicker. “
Lahiri wrote, “It is difficult to imagine the challenges you have faced. Get well soon. The golf world is praying for you with folded hands. “
Woods was on his way to a TV shoot and was alone in the car when his car collided with a ‘divider’ in the middle of the road and overturned two lanes.
Doctors had to insert rods, screws and pins for serious injuries to his right leg.
