25 February (Sputnik) Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zalensky, said that Poland would provide 1.2 million doses of the Corona virus vaccine produced by the AstraZeneca company to the country.
Ukraine received its first batch of five million doses of the AstraZeneca / Oxford Kovid-19 vaccine from India earlier this week. Ukraine has already signed contracts with six manufacturers of the Corona virus vaccine, according to Prime Minister Denis Schimhal.
Mr. Jelenski wrote on a Twitter page late Wednesday evening, “Thank you to Poland for the first of 1.2 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Ukraine.”
It is noteworthy that the number of corona virus infected in Ukraine is more than 13.6 lakh and so far more than 26 thousand people have died from this disease.
