On 25 February (talk) Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that his government will give all possible support for the development of Puducherry.
Mr. Modi digitally inaugurated three centrally sponsored schemes here and laid the foundation stone for four other projects. He said on the occasion that the people of Puducherry are talented and the land here is beautiful. His government will extend all possible support for the development of the Union Territory.
He said that he came here three years ago and Puducherry’s divinity brought him back to this place. Puducherry is a symbol of diversity.
The Prime Minister said that with the commencement of several developmental projects, the lives of the people of Puducherry will improve. He said that laying the foundation stone of 56 km long National Highway-45A connecting Sattanapuram and Nagapattinam to Karaikal would not only improve road connectivity but also improve economic activities and also facilitate access to the holy Shanishwaran Temple, Velankanni Church and Nagaur Dargah.
