Death toll exceeds 100 for five consecutive days

On February 28 (talk), the number of people who died of corona epidemic for more than five consecutive days in the country remains more than 100, while the new cases of infection were more than 16 thousand on the fourth day.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, the total number of dead has increased to one lakh 57 thousand 51 from the death of 113 people during the last 24 hours. The number of dead has been more than 100 every day from Wednesday to Sunday. The figure was 104 on Wednesday, 138 on Thursday, 120 on Friday and 113 on Saturday. There have been 16,752 new cases of corona infection during the last 24 hours, taking the number of infected to one crore 10 lakh 96 thousand 731 and 11,718 patients have become healthy, including one crore seven lakh 75 thousand 169 people who have been coronated so far. The number of active cases has increased from 4,921 to more than 1.64 lakh.
The recovery rate in the country has come down to 97.10 and the rate of active cases has increased to 1.48 percent while the death rate is still 1.42 percent.
Maharashtra has topped the corona’s active cases and the number has risen to 73,734, with the state increasing to 4924 active cases during the last 24 hours. In the state, 3648 patients became healthy, the number of those who beat Corona has increased to 20.20 lakhs, while the death toll of 51 more patients has increased to 52,092.
