The government has announced a new update that enables an applicant to correct any inadvertent errors in the name, year of birth and gender printed on the CoWIN vaccination certificate. Users can make corrections through the CoWIN website. The official handle of the Aarogya Setu app tweeted on Wednesday, “You can now make corrections in your name, year of birth and gender in your Coin Vaccination Certificate, in case errors have been found inadvertently.” The CoWIN Vaccination Certificate is used at the time of travel and helps to reach many other campuses. Earlier, the government had also allowed those who were allowed to voluntarily update their status on the Aarogya Setu app through a self-assessment process. People who have received a single dose of the vaccine, They will get single blue border with vaccination status on their home screen along with Aarogya Setu logo with single tick. 14 days after the second dose, a ‘Blue Shield’ with a double tick will appear on the app for those who have been fully vaccinated. This double tick will appear after verification of vaccination status from CoWIN portal. The vaccination status can be updated through the mobile number used for CoWIN registration. .
