36 months of new Chhattisgarh’:

In the last three years, 149 MoUs have been signed for the establishment of industries in the state. Through this, a capital investment of Rs 73,704.30 crore is proposed in the state. This will provide employment to 89,697 people of the state. Realizing the slogan of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, every area has gained momentum. Industrial policy has created a very good industrial environment in the state.

Bonus amount was paid to the farmers selling paddy in installments, especially on the occasion of festivals. During the Corona crisis, while the entire country was facing economic slowdown, the industry in the state remained untouched by its impact. Rice mills were given a rebate of five percent from energy charges. Industries were also given exemption in the period of payment of electricity bills. With the new industrial policy opening up new opportunities for industries, agriculture sector and forest based industries are also getting a boost.

Chhattisgarh on Thursday received three prestigious National Awards from the Government of India for the remarkable work done towards the welfare and empowerment of Divyangjan. Braille Press operated by Social Welfare Department at Bilaspur; Government of Chhattisgarh has received the award in the category “Best Braille Press”. The Press has done remarkable work in the field of online education in e-library under Sugamya Library (Accessible Library), besides producing textbooks, literature and informational books in Braille script for the visually impaired. In addition, Braille ballot papers were also printed by this press to help the visually impaired exercise.
