Another record jump on the export front under Modi’s rule, increased by 15.46 percent to $37.3 billion in May

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s economy is progressing at a fast pace. In the month of May of the financial year 2022-23, the export of goods has increased by 15.46 percent to $ 37.29 billion. According to the Ministry of Commerce, petroleum products, electronics goods and chemicals sector played a better role in record exports. With this, the export of goods has increased by 22.26 percent to $ 77.08 billion in April-May, 2022-23. Whereas in the first two months of the last financial year it was $ 63.05 billion. Petroleum products exports grew 52.71 percent to $8.11 billion in May 2022. Exports of electronic goods grew by 41.46 percent during this period, while exports of readymade garments increased by 22.94 percent to $1.36 billion. Engineering goods exports rose to $9.3 billion, gems and jewelery at $3.1 billion, chemicals by $2.5 billion, while pharma exports rose to $1.98 billion in May.

Exports reached a record level of $ 418 billion. As a result of this, India has made a big achievement in the financial year 2021-22 on the export front. Breaking all the records so far, India has succeeded in exporting about $ 418 billion during this period. India achieved the export target 10 days before the end of the financial year. March 2022 was very important from the point of view of exports. The country exported $ 40 billion this month, which is the highest level of exports in a month. Earlier, in March 2021, the export figure was $ 34 billion. Service exports reached a record level of $ 250 billion. Improvements are visible in every sector of the Indian economy. In the fiscal year 2021-22 under Modi rule, despite Corona, a record $ 250 billion service was exported. Whereas in the financial year 2020-21, service exports of $195 billion were done. With service exports of $250 billion, India’s total exports stood at $669 billion. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that in the financial year 21-22, the export of goods stood at $ 419.5 billion. For the financial year 21-22, a target of $ 225 billion was set for services exports, which has been exceeded.
Record growth in exports of Wheat, Maize and other agricultural products With the encouragement of the Modi Government, there has been a tremendous increase in the export of Wheat, Maize and other agricultural products. India’s agricultural exports have registered a growth of 23 percent in the ten months of the financial year 2021-22. Exports under APEDA increased from $15.59 billion to $19.71 billion. Rice exports grew by 13 per cent, earning US$7,696 million. There has been a tremendous jump in the demand of Indian wheat in the foreign markets as compared to the last year. Wheat exports registered a massive growth of $1,742 million during April-January 2021-22, a growth of 387 percent over the corresponding period of 2020-21, when it reached $340.17 million. Chemicals exports grew by 106 percent reached $29.3 billion
Indian chemicals exports registered a growth of 106 per cent in FY 2021-22 as compared to FY 2013-14. India’s chemical exports stood at a record $29.29 billion during the financial year 2021-22. Indian exports of chemicals stood at $14.21 billion in the fiscal year 2013-14. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said that the increase in exports will give a boost to Prime Minister Modi’s self-reliant India campaign.
